Croatian model Mateja Penava has return to the thrilled fashion world in great style. She is the advertising face the world's great fashion brands and one of the rare Croatian models who has had the privilege to wear over 200 collections by the most prestigious designers. In the past few months she appeared in several editorials in magazines around the world.

Mateja appeared in two May editions for magazines in Croatia and France. Gala style brings us an exclusive fashion editorial shot in Paris. Under the creative leadership of Grga Zecica and photographer Marko Grubisic, Mateja shined in creations by famous fashion designer Jean Paul Gaultier.

Mateja confirmed her status of favourite model of fashion editors by appearing in a beauty editorial for French Elle. The session was shot by David Oldham, known for his editorials for Elle, Vogue, British Tatler, etc.

Pak fashion model admits she and Musharraf old friends

Pakistani beauty queen and fashion model, Maria Mateen, who represented her country twice in international beauty pageants, denied press reports claiming that she had a desire to go on a date with Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf.

She, however, admitted that she and the former Army Chief were old friends.

In an email interview from Texas, Maria said that when she started her career in modeling, her association with Pakistan was appreciated everywhere, and that she earned Pakistan a good name after representing it twice in international beauty pageants, reported the Daily Times.

Refuting press reports suggesting that she had expressed her wish to go on a date with Musharraf, she said she and Musharraf are already good friends. (ANI)

With an estimated $35 million in earnings, Gisele Bundchen is still the world’s top-earning model, according to Forbes.com’s annual list. In the last 12 months, Bundchen made more than double the $14 million earned by Heidi Klum, who came in second, according to Forbes.

Rounding out the top five are Kate Moss ($7.5 million), Adriana Lima ($7 million) and Doutzen Kroes ($6 million). The latter, a 23-year-old from Holland, was second-to-last on the list last year. “I wish we had snapped her up a long time ago,” Edward Razek, who has been selecting models for Victoria’s Secret for a decade, told Forbes. The company gave Kroes a contract this year.
Victoria’s Secret made millionaires of two newcomers: Miranda Kerr and Selita Ebanks, ranked at Nos. 10 and 12, respectively.
